Rurouni Kenshin is Samurai X. He is a legendary ronin warrior known across Meiji-era Japan as being an invincible swordsman. Despite his mastery he has sworn to never kill.

He wields a specially made sword to aid him in his journeys and his beliefs. The sword’s cutting edge and blunt edges are on reversed sides, allowing him to stop his attackers in their tracks, but without killing them.

Accompanied by Kaoru Kamiya and Yahiko, Kenshin battles wits and steel with Aoshi and Kenryu Takeda’s evil guard. Along the way he agrees to aid the hunted, Megumi, and protect her from Aoshi and his lethal warriors.

Considered by many to be one of the very best anime shows of all time.
