Britney Spears has become one of America’s biggest pop icons since she first released her debut album and single “Baby One More Time” in 1999. Beautiful and talented Britney Spears began her career at age eleven when she joined the “Mouseketeers”. Prior to joining the Mickey Mouse Club, Britney Spears performed all over the map: Schools, Church, and armature TV stations. She also was involved in many Off-Broadway shows until she finally turned to the House of Mouse.

Disney’s “Mouseketeers” are known for their singing dancing and acting talents and have charmed the hearts of children for ages. Britney Spears was with the Mickey Mouse Club until she auditioned for an all-girl music group. It was then that she was offered her position as a solo artist, and not long after she rose to stardom!

Britney Spears has released three albums that have each reached multi-platinum status. She was the star of her own movie “Crossroads”; and has written a book entitled “Heart to Heart”. Her fans are currently awaiting her fourth coming album “The Zone”, which is set to be released in late fall of 2003. Since her debut, Britney has always been criticized for her “pure” motto. She has become one of the most popular and controversial pop icons. However, this doesn’t bother Britney Spears; she still produces great music and runs her own charitable foundation.
